This morning we are off to BANFF National Park in Alberta Canada. The border is just 5 miles away from the campground and it is about 4 hours to BANFF. When we hit the border we were asked... What is the plate number of the truck, where are you heading, when are you planning to return, how long you staying and if we are leaving anything, had any weapons and if we had tobacco or alcohol. Nice guy, and welcomed us to Canada!

The scenery is spectacular as we travel north to Banff. Snow capped mountains, streams, beautiful pines line the highways.

Once we turned onto the main route to BANFF, we were going into the National Park. It was bizzare the rock formations as we entered into the National Park area.

It wasn't long before we saw a bear along the side of the road.

We made it to Banff National Park. Very excited to be here! Just as we were pulling into the campground, we had a Rocky Mountain Elk standing across from our site.

The downtown Banff is absolutely stunning. Lots of shops and restaurants line the streets, with the snow capped mountains in the background.

We are staying here for the next 5 nights. I am sure the time will fly, but looking forward to exploring the area.
